Alex Pierroutsakos is Industry Executive Advisor for Chemicals and Process Industries at SAP, where he guides chemical-sector executives through digital and operational transformations. With more than 25 years of experience, he has led global business and technology initiatives across consulting, software, and manufacturing. Before joining SAP, he was Supply Chain Practice Leader at Bristlecone and Vice President of Consulting Services at Stellium Inc. Earlier, he served as Global CIO and Program Director at Novus International and held leadership roles at Accenture and Capgemini, driving large-scale ERP and supply chain transformations for Fortune 500 clients. His career spans digital innovation, sustainability strategy, and business process optimization for organizations including Bombardier, Monsanto, Union Carbide, and Johnson & Johnson. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Missouri–Columbia and an Executive Master’s in International Business from Saint Louis University, and completed executive studies in Agribusiness at Harvard Business School.
