Andrew Stewart is the Group Executive and President of Specialty Mining Chemicals at Orica, where he holds full P&L responsibility for one of the company’s three global segments. Under his leadership, the business has delivered significant earnings growth across global operations, including continuous manufacturing in the U.S. and Australia, as well as a worldwide sales and supply chain network. Prior to this, he served as Orica’s Chief Development and Sustainability Officer, driving transformative M&A activity and accelerating emissions reduction efforts—helping the company reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 43% from its 2019 baseline. Before joining Orica, he spent over 13 years at FTSE-listed Wood, holding senior roles including CEO of the Americas and Executive President of Strategy and Development. His international portfolio spanned North and South America, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. He also served as a Non-Executive Director at The Bridge Inc. He holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.
