Dr. Björn Jackisch is the President of US Operations and SVP of Operations and Supply Chain for Adhesive Technologies at Henkel. With over 25 years of experience in the specialty chemicals industry, he has held key leadership positions in both global operations and supply chain management. Before joining Henkel, he was with Honeywell for over nine years, where he served as the Global Business Director and General Manager for the Fine Chemicals SBU. He also held various global business management roles at Honeywell, including overseeing Inorganic and Organic Fine Chemicals. Earlier in his career, he worked at Sud-Chemie, which was later acquired by Clariant. At Sud-Chemie, he co-led the company’s Technology Scouting and Corporate Venturing team, which assessed over 150 emerging technologies and startups. His work in business development and portfolio management, particularly in the animal feed adsorbents and rheological additives product lines, was instrumental to the company’s growth. His career has been marked by a passion for innovation, a commitment to sustainability, and the development of diverse teams. He holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and an MBA from INSEAD.
