Jeff Jirak is the Managing Director and President, Global Powder Coatings at AkzoNobel. He joined the Executive Committee in May 2025. He joined AkzoNobel in August 2022 as the Business Unit Director for Powder Coatings. Before joining AkzoNobel, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Valtris Specialty Chemicals. He previously held senior positions at DuPont, Chemours, and Nouryon (formerly AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals), specializing in the strategic growth of high-performance materials, polymers, and coatings. He has over 30 years of experience in the performance materials and specialty chemicals sector. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from Drexel University.
